In Search of Lost Time - Holiday Greetings!

Hello friends! It’s been a while! Here is a tiny story from this morning!

In Search of Lost Time

- Who is this girl posting memes on Instagram? - I ask Christos, while we are still in bed.

- I don’t know, a random profile.

I want to find out more and persevere with questions.

- Okay, look, I do this - I’ll show you, it’s very cool. I open Instagram search section and type a first letter. It gives me list of profiles and I check their Stories! I find all the coolest people like that (art critics, designers…)
I think the algorithm knows my interest in art by now, so I entered this art scene of New York and I’m up-to-date with it.
And I also see other people’s stories (their friends’) from Paris or in London… it’s exciting. I do it every day.
I don’t know any of them though. Neither they know me.

(a moment of pause)

You see, now I’ve seen all the stories that are available. There is nothing else.

- Perfect. Shall we go buy the Christmas groceries? - I ask him.

We both get sad that it ’s already noon, and there is not much time left for making the chocolate truffles, but we agree on other dishes we’ll cook today and leave the house.

And here are 10 photos from 2021 that I’d like to share with you! I neither have a strong camera, nor strong photography skills, but these are just a few meaningful glimpses (there are way more memorable moments from this year that will stay in my heart):

It snowed today in Astoria from 3 to 5am!!

Putney Heath will take a break and return in January, possibly with a new exciting project.

Meanwhile, copying a line that Professor John Bailyn wrote to me today:

happy whatever you celebrate!!!

We love you and thank you for reading Putney Heath!
